    FOREST Services for George "Hop" Cleveland will be held today at 11 a.m. at Conehatta Baptist Church. Burial will be in Conehatta Methodist Cemetery. Ott and Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Cleveland, 79, of Conehatta, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
    Survivors include his wife, Marcella Cleveland of Conehatta; a daughter, Jan Randall of Gilbertown, Ala.; sons, Jimmy Cleveland of Anchorage, Alaska, and Larry Cleveland of Conehatta; a sister, Helen Williams of Citronelle, Ala.; a brother, Durwood Cleveland of Mobile, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Cleveland.
    Retired
    QUITMAN Services for William L. "Buddy" Barry will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Edsol Wells and Paul Childress officiating. Burial will be in East Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Clarke County.
    Mr. Barry, 76, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 79. He was a retired mechanic for Lockheed Martin.
    Survivors include his wife, Helen Barry; a daughter, Vicki LaShane and her husband, Danny; and one grandson, Jason Daniel LaShane, all of Meridian.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. Barry and Mellie Neal Griffin.
    Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m.
    Retired
    Services for Mary Jackson will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Enterprise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Jackson, 71, of Meridian, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Houston, Texas.
    Survivors include her daughters, Geraldine Carroll, Ida Basha and Valarae Harris, all of Houston, Texas; a son, Johnny Tubbs of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; a sister, Annie Hodges and a brother, Louise Smith Jr., both of Meridian; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Graveside services for George Daniels Jr. will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Goodwin officiating. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Daniels, 72, of Chicago, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, in Chicago.
    Survivors include his sisters, Lillie B. Abernathy of Meridian, Mary Elizabeth Alexander of Chicago and Ada Mae Hollingsworth of Gary, Ind.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

    OXFORD Graveside services for Rodes Settle Currie will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Currie, 78, of Oxford, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, in his home. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Mississippi where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific theater. He lived in New York for many years before returning to Oxford in 2001. He was a communicant of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Oxford.
    Survivors include his sister, Rachel Currie Martin of Oxford; a brother, Warner Settle Currie of Atlanta; four nephews and one niece.
    Memorials may be made to North Mississippi Hospice, 104 Skyline Drive, Oxford, MS 38655.
    Graveside services for Cozy Robinson will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Barker Cemetery in Marion. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Robinson, 79, of Chicago, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Chicago.
    Survivors include his daughter, Queen Victoria Rogers of Arlington, Ill.; a brother, Frank J. Robinson and two sisters, Amanda Norman and Gladys Donald, all of Chicago; eight grandchildren and one aunt.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Retired aeronautics engineer
    Graveside services for Sammie Lee Taylor were held Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Taylor, 80, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in World War II in the Mighty Eighth Air Force. He help build the first F-16 fighter jet and other jets with General Dynamics Aircraft in California.
    Survivors include his wife, Margie Stokes Taylor; a step-son, Paul Wilson and a step-daughter, Johnny Parnell, all of Meridian; six step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Addie Taylor.
    Restaurant worker
    Graveside services for Marjorie "Margie" Whitaker Morgan were held Sept. 29 at 2:30 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Revs. Earl Wheatley and Jim Harrison officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Morgan, 94, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at Beverly Healthcare Broadmoor. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include her sons, Leonard "Sonny" Morgan and his wife, Ruth, of Meridian and Lynwood "Bubber" Morgan and his wife, Shirley, of Upland, Calif.; grandchildren, Sharon Matthews and Jimmy Morgan, both of Meridian, Marilyn Smith of San Bernardino, Calif., Randy and Larry Morgan of San Clemente, Calif., and Louise Forney of Grand Junction, Colo.; nine great-grandchildren including, Josie Matthews of Meridian; and one great-great-grandchild.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynwood and Frankie Whitaker; a sister, Frances; a son, Billy Morgan; grandson, Bill Morgan; and a great-grandson, Gabriel Goodson.
    Pallbearers were Fred Henderson, Jere Gunn, Jackie McLemore, Harold Catlett, Robert Eugene Gossett, Sammy Foy, Jimmie Townsend and Joe Boswell.
    Honorary pallbearers were Simon Watson, Dr. Stephen Tartt, Dr. Donald Adler, Dr. Todd Clayton, Tommy Hampton and Howard Beeland.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Ruth Hime, 86, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for Hazel T. Caraway, 76, of Hickory, who died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
