McKissack, Mathis

Mr. and Mrs. Barry McKissack of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Reanna Leigh, to Ryan Lee Mathis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Mathis of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 14, 2003, at 4 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.
Miss McKissack is the granddaughter of Imogene Weldon of Meridian, the late Arnell Nichols, and C.W. McKissack of Meridian and the late Katherine McKissack.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi.
While attending USM, she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society, Gamma Beta Phi and Phi Kappa Phi.
Miss McKissack is employed by the Meridian Public School District.
Mr. Mathis is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Parker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Mathis, all of Quitman.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received an associate's degree in marketing from Meridian Community College.
He attended Mississippi State University and the University of Southern Mississippi.
While attending MCC, he was a member of Delta Epsilon Chi. Mr. Mathis is employed by Sunbelt Motors.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
