McMullen, Austrom

Danae Austrom of Surrey, Canada, and Monty McMullen of Meridian were married Saturday, June 8, 2002, at Stonewall Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Albert McMullen, father of the bridegroom, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Rick and Bea Austrom of Surrey, and the Rev. Dr. Albert and Janell McMullen of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Ed and Ollie Elchuck, Marcel Bonneteau, Harold and Doreen Austrom, and the late Beatrice Bonneteau.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Robert and Tressie McMullen, and Thornell and Edna Wilkinson.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Rose Longweitz, pianist; Kellie McMullen, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, Allyn Dogett and Sandy Murphy, cousin of the bridegroom, soloists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Janelle Austrom of Surrey attended her sister as maid of honor. Other attendants were Blair Richardson of Meridian, Tori McMullen of Meridian, niece of the bridegroom, Kristina Kinch of Chilliwak, Canada, Laura Edwards and Trisha Holmes, both of Surrey.
Jessica Turner of Jackson was flower girl.
Marty McMullen of Meridian served his brother as best man.
Groomsmen were Reggie Richardson of Meridian, Mark Davis of Stonewall, Chad Turner of Jackson, Ashley McLain of Meridian, nephew of the bridegroom, and Brandon Williams of Kenner, La.
Ushers were Ryan Stringer of Columbia, Michael Robinson of Ellisville and Kenny Estep of Monroe, La.
Bubble attendants were Morgan Sisson, Chasity Hudson, Kaitlyn Sisson and Jessica Morland. Program attendant was Robyn Killabrew.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Mandy Mazingo, Aime Guilot, Kacy Lassere and the ladies of Stonewall Baptist Church.
After a honeymoon in Destin, Fla., and Canada, the couple resides in Jackson.
