    Enterprise beats Sweetwater, 72-61; Clarkdale sweeps

    Cory Boggan and Mitchell Burns scored 22 points apiece to lead Enterprise past Sweetwater, Ala., 72-61 on Tuesday night at the Bulldog Gym.
    Enterprise improves to 5-6 with the win.
    The Bulldogs led 20-11 after one quarter and 33-23 at the half. Sweetwater scored 23 in the third quarter to pull within 52-46 after three quarters. The Dogs answered with 20 in the fourth quarter to take the win.
    Derrick James added 15 points from Enterprise. Brian Waters had 19 for Sweetwater and Trey Watkins added 17.
    Clarkdale Boys 70
    Edinburg 50
    Clarkdale improved to 4-8 by turning back Edinburg 70-50 on Tuesday night.
    Bryant Gaddis led the Bulldogs with 24. Rocky Kirksey had 14 while Brandon Mabry and Quinton Walker had 12 each.
    Victor Pope led Edinburg with 19.
    Clarkdale trailed 12-10 after one but went up 26-25 at the half following a 16-point second quarter. It was 48-41 after three quarters.
    Clarkdale Girls 49
    Edinburg 33
    The Clarkdale Lady Bulldogs move to 6-8 on the season after beating Edinburg 49-33 on Tuesday night.
    Tamara Brown led Clarkdale with 18. Edinburg got 14 from Amber Ladner.
    Clarkdale led 14-5 after one quarter and 24-10 at halftime.
    Union Girls 51
    Pelahatchie 35
    Lauren White tossed in 18 points and Sandra Harris had 11 to lead Union past Pelahatchie in division action on Tuesday.
    Union Boys 59
    Pelahatchie 39
    Douglas Wansley and Derrick Harris each had 13 points to lead the Yellow Jackets past Pelahatchie on Tuesday.
    Kemper County Boys 64
    Williams Sullivan 46
    Kemper County picked up ifs second division win of the season by beating Williams Sullivan 64-46 on Tuesday night in Dekalb.
    The Rams placed five players in double figures to turn back the Yellow Jackets. They improve to 2-1 in the division and 8-2 overall. Sullivan falls to 3-10 overall and 1-2 in the division.
    Kendrick Bennoman led the Rams with 12 points. Terrance Westerfield and Kenny Boyd had 11 each followed by Cory Griffin and Marquez Mays with 10 each.
    J. Young led Sullivan with 11 points.
    Williams Sullivan Girls 76
    Kemper County 48
    Williams Sullivan remained unbeaten with the 28-point win. The Lady Yellow Jackets move to 15-0 on the season. Kemper County falls to 2-6 and 0-2 in the division.
    Angela Howard led Sullivan with 27 points and Mary Tims had 18.
    Kanisha Davis led the Lady Rams with 14 points followed by Kandra McCoy with nine.
    Scott Central Girls 62
    Noxapater 41
    The Lady Rebels of Scott Central blasted Noxapater 62-41 behind 21 points from Katie Nickson and 14 from Brittany Burks.
    Noxapater was paced by Krystal Hunter with 12. Deedra Hunter and Stephanie Blankenship had 11 each.
    Sumter Aca. Boys 72
    Marion Academy 58
    Five Eagles scored in double figures to lead Sumter Academy to a 72-58 road win over Marion on Tuesday night.
    Tucker Spidle scored 18 and Chase Schroeder hit for 18 to lead Sumter to the win, while Shane Martin hit for 15 and J.D. Todd added 10.
    The Eagles play host to Jackson (Ala.) Academy on Friday. The junior high games begin at 4 p.m.
    Heidelberg Aca. Boys 50
    East Rankin 44
    The Rebels took a 17-10 lead the half and then held on to take the win in the second half.
    Dusty Bass and Dan Edwards scored 12 points each to lead Heidelberg.
    Central Hinds 46
    Lamar Girls 31
    Central Hinds outscored visiting Lamar 30-15 in the second half to break a 16-16 halftime tie and take the division win over the Lady Raiders.
    Myleia Shirley led Lamar, now 3-8, with 10 points, while April Rodgers and Libby Huff scored eight points each.
    Lamar plays host to Manchester on Friday, with junior high action beginning at 4 p.m. The junior high girls lost to CHA 37-21.
    Central Hinds 63
    Lamar Boys 23
    Lamar scored just two points in the first quarter and three in the fourth on the way to the 63-23 loss.
    David Haggard led LHS with 13 points.
    Neshoba Central Boys 76
    South Leake 72
    Calvin Parker scored 31 points and Tawon Walker hit for 20 to go with 16 from Desmond Jones as the Rockets took a 76-72 win over a strong South Leake team.
    Neshoba Central plays host to St. Andrews on Friday, before taking part in the Philadelphia Christmas Tournament.
