OBITUARIES FOR MONDAY, OCT. 1, 2001

LARRY THOMAS BUIE
Graveside services for Larry Thomas Buie will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ron McGee officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Buie, 38, of Shreveport, La., died Friday, Sept. 28,2001, at Shumpert Medical Center in Shreveport
Survivors include a son, Matthew Thomas of Shreveport; a daughter, Misti Thomas of Meridian; his mother, Sandra Netherland of Shreveport; his father, Larry O. Buie and his wife, Nelda, of Meridian; two sisters, Desiree' Buie of Shreveport and Angela Jowers and her husband, Hershel, of Gilmer, Texas; four half-sisters, Jennifer Buie of Hattiesburg, Deanna Netherland and Sherry Netherland, both of Shreveport and Leigh Ann Buie of Asheville, N.C.; a half-brother, Shannon Netherland of Shreveport; a step-sister, Christy Shaw of Cuba, Ala.; a step-brother, Jeffery Rainey of Meridian; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Brown of Shreveport; and his paternal grandmother, Maudine Buie of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Mike Smithson, Mark Jenkins, Anthony Clearman, David Ginn, Jeff Rainey and Jeff Shaw.
Visitation will be today from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
JOHN LLOYD MCCLENDON II
SEBASTOPOL Services for John Lloyd McClendon II, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Burnam and Shelby Colson officiating. Burial will be in Sebastopol City Cemetery.
Mr. McClendon, 17, of Sebastopol, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, in Forest. He was a student at Sebastopol High School.
Survivors include his mother, Penny Dobbs of Sebastopol; his step-father, Jimmy Dobbs of Sebastopol; a sister, Kathy Sistrunk of Forest; a brother, Shawn David Dobbs of Sebastopol; his maternal grandmother, Ruby K. Posey of Forest and his paternal grandfather, H.B. Craft of Brandon.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Bobbie L. Willis, 72, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at his home.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

UNION Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Ella Ruth Boler, 61, of Union, who died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at Laird Hospital in Union.
JAMES HASTINGS
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for James Hastings, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, in Tuscaloosa.
