Sept. 18, 2001
As we write this report today, we do so with a heavy heart.
It is almost unbelievable what has happened in our country. We are hoping and praying for everyone that was hit by this to come out of it as well as possible. I do feel we will be stronger united as one and with God as our leader we will always be stronger.
We did have good scores this week. Bob Timms had a 280/702 and Mike Carson had a 279/775. Ron Coleman had a 759, Billy Priester had a 288/768 and Stan Bottorff had a 278/761. Dennis Hobson had a 717, and Jeff Gaines had a 710. Jim Broderick Jr. had a 278/730 and Cletis McCarra had a 716. James Dillard had his first 700 with a 276/740. Nita Fike had a 278/681.
Now it is time for the league high scores. In Dixie Belles, Nita Fike had a 278/681. In Queen City, Bob Timms had a 280 and Chuck Gray had a 775. In Ball &Chain, Ryan Relinski had a 262 and Ron Coleman had a 759. Janie Tisdale led the ladies with a 217/599. In Seniors League, Bob Timms had a 253/629. In Northwood, Jane Kynerd had a 170/426. In Wednesday Mix, Jim Broderick Jr. had a 278/730 and Amy Davis rolled a 233/685. In Wednesday Fun Time, Dustin Gray had a 203/558 and Brie Bajus had a 72/166. The Saturday Youth report will be in next week.
The deadline for the magic age state tournament is October 4th. It will be held at Dixie Bowl October 20th and 21st, the third weekend in October. I would like to see all of our Magic Age Ladies enter since it is at home. If you have any questions we'll be happy to help you.
We will close with God Bless America!
