    Paternal grandparents are Dorothy and Wilson Washington of Vaughan.
    Maternal grandparents are Sandra Henderson and Jackie Ray Copeland of Rome, Ga.
    Mrs. Washington is the former Gabriele Demetria Shackleford.
    A son, Jacob Samuel, was born to Dale and Tonya Hancock of Philadelphia on July 4, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Steve and Lynda Hancock.
    Maternal grandparents are Hartford and Betty Durant and Barbara Durant.
    Mrs. Hancock is the former Tonya Durant.
    Crystal and David Naiman of Stonewall announce the birth of a daughter, Sydney Renae, born July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Naiman is the former Crystal Strickland.
    Elizabeth Hutchinson and Max Brooks of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Edward Dewayne Brooks, born July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    A son, Kobe Scott, was born to Jennifer and Scott Casey of Union on July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Casey is the former Jennifer Bruno.
    LaNora and Marshall Maddox of Meridian announce the birth of a daughter, Victoria Grace, born July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Maddox is the former LaNora Ward.
    A daughter, Mallory Elizabeth, was born to Marijoy and Billy Howell of Meridian on July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Howell is the former Marijoy Santiago.
    Brandy Downing of Butler, Ala., announces the birth of a daughter, Anna Elizabeth Rhodes, born July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Samuel Jay, a son, was born to Rebekah and Shannon Puckett of Forest on July 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Puckett is the former Rebekah Strickland.
    Vanessa Quintero of Meridian announces the birth of a daughter, Monica Jade Villalvazo, born July 5, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    A daughter, Joni Summer, was born to Johnny and Rhonda Jones of Sebastopol on July 5, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Horval and Betty Jones of Sebastopol.
    Maternal grandparents are Marshall and Renee Patrick of Carthage and the late Travis Greene.
    Mrs. Jones is the former Rhonda Renee Greene.
    Latoya Peters of Meridian announces the birth of a daughter, Vetanali Telean, born July 6, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Stephanie and Shannon Cooley of Hickory announce the birth of a son, Clay Harold, born July 6, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Cooley is the former Stephanie Moore.
    Kip and Susan Wilcher of Carthage announce the birth of a daughter, Emme Marie, born July 6, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Bill and Brenda Wilcher.
    Maternal grandparents are Chris and Gloria Malone of Carthage and James and Shelia Brown of Philadelphia.

    Mrs. Baker is the former Christy Hendrix.

    Mrs. Crocker is the former Angela Dorsey.

    Mrs. Brown is the former Mailan Smith.
    Jason and Lisa Stevens announce the birth of a daughter, Savannah Marie, born July 7, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Mrs. Stevens is the former Lisa Craft.
    Angela Lewis and Kenneth Ray of Philadelphia announce the birth of a daughter, Autumn Rose Ray, born July 7, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are James and Bonnie Ray of Union.
    Maternal grandparents are Linda and Gerald Lewis of Philadelphia.

    Mrs. Bryant is the former Donnie Marie Boyd.

    Alan and Dana Spears announce the birth of a daughter, Samantha Jo, born July 8, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Mrs. Spears is the former Dana Michelle Guess.
    A son, Tucker Addison Abel, was born to Jamie Abel and Reagan Collins of Philadelphia on July 8, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Floyd and Linda Ayers of Tenn. and Johnny and Sissy Abel of Philadelphia.
    Maternal grandparents are Joe and Mary Collins of Philadelphia.
    Taurus and Susan Hutchinson of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Ezekiel Job, born July 8, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
