Donald, Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie McKenzie of Collinsville and Willie Donald of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Shalana Lynette, to Jeredith Brown, son of Diane Brown of Jackson.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at 4 p.m. at New Dimensions Ministries Church in Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cleo Carter and the late Detroy Carter and Wilma McKenzie. She is the goddaughter of Jean Conley.
Miss Donald is a graduate of Philadelphia High School and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Tougaloo College. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Mr. Brown is the grandson of Nozy Brown of Jackson. He is a graduate of Murrah High School and received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Tougaloo College. He is currently employed as an adjuster with All-State National Catastrophe Team.
A reception will be held at the Jacob L. Reddix Union on the campus of Jackson State University following the ceremony. Friends and family are invited to attend.
