New polling place in Saints Crossroads community

SAINTS CROSSROADS – After a special called meeting held last week, members of the Franklin County Commission have changed the polling place for the Saints Crossroads community.

The Myrick store building has served as the polling place for many years, but according to Franklin County Probate Judge Barry Moore, some issues with that building had come to their attention and an alternate polling place had been suggested.

“Due to some concerns, the commission thought it would be best to move the polling place to a different location,” Moore said.

He said the new polling place for those who vote in the Saints Crossroads community would be Quinn’s Garage, located at 9850 Franklin 48.

Moore said this will be where voters will come for the June primary election and all other elections until further notice.
