Red Bay girls outscore Tharptown

The Red Bay Lady Tigers outscored the Tharptown Lady Wildcats in each quarter in route to the 59-46 win at Tharptown on Thursday.

The Wildcats were well within striking distance at halftime trailing by six, 23-16, but Red Bay pulled away in the third quarter extending their lead to 42-28.

Kasey Sparks led Red Bay with 12 points. The Tigers had three other scorers in double figures. Elizabeth Wooten, Darby Madden and Carlee Berry had 10 points each. Others scoring for Red Bay were Hope Cook (7), Katie Burks (5), Allie Kennedy (3), and Hannah McKinney (2).

Kamri Sears led Tharptown with 12 points. Others scoring for the Wildcats were Haley Malone (6), Danielle Creasy (6), Savannah Hamilton (4), Kaitlyn Vandiver (3), and Brooke Daniel (3).
