FUMC hosting rummage sale

First United Methodist Church in downtown Russellville has several events coming up this week and church members hope to see many people from the community in the coming days.
The first event is the annual Trunk or Treat that the church holds each year for the tick-or-treaters in the area.
The Trunk or Treat will take place Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Washington Street behind the FUMC Ministry Center.
Church members will be set up giving out candy and prizes to those who come to trick-or-treat downtown on Halloween.
The second event is the Super Fall Rummage Sale on Friday, Nov. 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Ministry Center behind the church.
The event is sponsored by the United Methodist Women as a way to raise money for missions and outreach.
Sausage, biscuits and a drink will be sold for $2 starting at 7 a.m. and at 11 a.m., the ladies will start serving chili, crackers and a drink for $3.
Homemade baked goods will also be sold throughout the day and, of course, rummage items from household goods to furniture to toys and everything in between will be sold as well.
