    OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, NOV. 4, 2001

    MICHA WILLIAM PRESLEY
    Butler, Ala. Services for Micha William Presley will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Shady Grove Assembly of God. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Presley, four-weeks-old, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at his home in Needham, Ala.
    Survivors include his parents, Jackie and Jeanne Presley, his brother, Jessi Lavern Presley, all of Needham; three sisters, Malissa Kaye Walker of Waynesboro; and Tammy Joe and Hanna Marie Presley, both of Needham; his paternal grandmother, Aree Presley, and maternal grandparents, Donna Goodine and Gene, all of Needham.

    UNION Services for Martha Jane Gardner will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol with the Revs. Bobby Barfoot and Barron Pilgrim officiating. Burial will be at County Line Cemetery with the funeral home in charge of arrangements.
    Ms. Gardner, 97, of Union, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Magnolia South. She was a Primitive Baptist by faith.
    Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Fred Gardner, four sisters, Naomi Fulton, Gertrude Houston, Mary Gardner, Gladys Gardner and two brothers, Basil and Huron Gardner.
    Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be Harold Cleveland, Ricky Cleveland, Bobby Cleveland, Jason Weatherford, Johnny Weatherford and Brian Jones.

    Public works director for Newton
    Services for Timothy W. Muse Sr. will be held on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church of Newton with the Revs. Ron Gilstrap, Rodney Anderson and Tom McCloughin officiating. Burial will be in a private family cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Muse, 31, of Hickory, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Riley Memorial Hospital. He was Public Works Director for the city of Newton, president of Newton Theater, member of Newton Volunteer Fire Department, member of American Society of Civil Engineers, American Quarter Horse Association, and a member of Hickory Baptist Church.
    Muse graduated from Pillow Academy, Mississippi Delta Community College and Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
    Survivors include his son, Timothy W. Muse, Jr. of Hickory; his parents, Eddie and Judy Muse of Greenwood; his grandmothers, Mrs. A. J. Stewart of Belzoni; and Doris Muse of Greenwood; two sisters-in-law, Sherry Pluche and her husband, Fred, of Germantown, Maryland; and Cathy Faulkner and her husband, Greg, of Prattville, Ala; his mother and father-in-law, Ed and Sandra Riddle of Hickory; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, O.R. Muse and A.J. Stewart, and his niece, Margie Elizabeth Pluche.
    The family requests memorials be made to Meridian Care Lodge.
    Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Services for Ulysses Kelly will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John C. Evans, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Blackwater Cemetery in Daleville.
    Mr. Kelly, 53, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001 in Jackson.
    Survivors include his wife, Sarah Kelly of Meridian; three daughters, Felicia Brookins and her husband, Jason, of Jackson; Melissa Cullum and her husband, Stanley, and Devittia Kelly, all of Meridian; his mother, Lessie Mae Johnson and her husband, J.C., of Houston, Tex.; three brothers, Angelo Whitehead and his wife, Bertha, of Leakesville; Mitchell Lee and his wife, Dana, of Germany; and Major Lee and his wife, Chelsa, of Moss Point; three sisters, Gladys Phillips and her husband, James, and Leevisha Lee, all of Meridian; and Kim Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Monday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Zaylon Jabari Jones, infant, of Meridian, who died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Patty Michelle Martin, 36, of Meridian, who died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at her home.
    NOAH EARL WILLIAMS
    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Noah E. Williams of Meridian, who died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001,at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    CLARA MOORE
    Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Clara Moore, 88, of Cuba, Ala., who died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Kings Daughters and Son's Rest Home.
