Red Bay wins 2 of 3 games

The Red Bay baseball beat Covenant Christian 10-0, Belmont 10-3 and lost to Hackleburg 9-8.

Against Covenant, Red Bay’s scored 10 runs on six hits four of which were doubles–two by Ayden Pruitt and one each by Jeremiah Thorne and Joshua Thorne.

Landon Petree and Sawyer Humphres scored twice.

Thorne got the win on the mound allowing just one hit and striking out seven.

Against Belmont, Red Bay scored 10 runs on seven hits. Jeremaih Thorne scored three runs. Petree and Pruitt scored two runs each.

Carson McGee struck out 12 in a complete game shutout.

In the loss to Hackleburg, Red scored eight runs on 12 hits. McGee had three hits, including two doubles, and three RBIs. Riley Carpenter also had three hits.
