3 earn honors at FBLA state

PHIL CAMPBELL — Students from Phil Campbell High School’s Future Business Leaders of America attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference, where they had the opportunity to compete in a business competition and attend leadership workshops.

As a chapter, the PCHS team received the Alabama FBLA Blueprint for Success-Outstanding Level and the March of Dimes $500 Club.

State champion Lola Mays received first place in Client Service.

State runner up — Lara Gunderman received second place in Public Speaking.

State runner up — Kayden Headlee received second place in Job Interview.

“I am incredibly proud of these girls,” said PCHS FBLA sponsor Taylor Godsey. “They always volunteer their time to participate in all of the activities that FBLA has to offer.”
