Russellville man dies in Lawrence Co. crash Nov. 4

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Nov. 4 has claimed the life of Lowell W. Parker, 68, of Russellville.

He was fatally injured when the 2018 Freightliner tractor-trailer he was driving left the roadway, struck a mailbox and overturned. Parker was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The crash occurred on Alabama 36 near the eight-mile marker, approximately six miles southeast of Moulton, in Lawrence County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol division continue to investigate.
