Community Spirit Bank announces promotion

Community Spirit Bank has announced the promotion of Jessica Horton to chief compliance and BSA officer. Horton, with nineteen years of financial industry experience, now joins the bank’s executive management team, moving from her previous role as vice president/compliance and BSA officer.

A native of Red Bay, Horton is a graduate of Belmont High School. In 2013, she began working on her additional compliance certifications, obtaining her Certified BSA/AML Professional status. In 2014, she received her specialty certification as a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer. Horton studied at the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tenn., graduating in 2016.

Previous recognition includes being the 2022 recipient of the Spirit of CSB award, a peer-nominated accolade driven by the bank’s team.

“On behalf of the officers, directors and employees of Community Spirit Bank, I congratulate Jessica Horton on the promotion to Chief Compliance Officer, which was approved at our June board of directors meeting,” said CSB president and CEO, Brad M. Bolton.

With this designation, Jessica formally joins our executive management team.
