Russellville High School varsity cheerleaders attend UCA cheer camp

Each team chooses an era to dress up as for Spirit Night to go along with this year’s theme of “Golden Era.” RHS chooses the “Roaring Era.”

One of 61 squads made up of almost 1,000 cheerleaders, the RHS varsity cheerleaders took part in a UCA cheer camp at the University of North Alabama May 28-June 1. They won second place in the category of cheer and second place in the category of dance.

All-American award recipients: Cara Elliott, Ella Colagross, Ella Goggans and Lexie Wells.

Pin It Forward awards: Lily Cate Pace, Allison Ambrosio and Ticelee Gholston.
