RHS FBLA students place in state competition

The Russellville High School Future Business Leaders of America Chapter had four students recently compete at the Alabama FBLA State Competition.

“They did an excellent job representing RHS,” said Dr. Anna Kay Holland, RHS FBLA sponsor.

The Alabama FBLA State Leadership Program provides leadership training in order to develop competent, self-assured business leaders and provide a venue for business competitions. From April 19-21, more than 2,000 high school students attended this conference and competed in more than 30 business areas.

Ashlee Moon, daughter of Chris and Monica Moon, placed 1st in the state in Business Calculations. Will Morgan, son of Tom and Laura Morgan, placed 3rd in the state in Political Science. Both students received an invitation to the FBLA National Competition.
