Belgreen High hosts vape take-back program
Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center visited Belgreen High School for a vape take–back initiative March 15 as part of a substance abuse prevention program, which also included prizes for winning student posters promoting staying away from vaping and other forms of substance abuse.
In return for disposing of a vape, each participating student received a gift card.
As part of supporting the outreach, BHS will mount a vape drop box in the school for safe and easy disposal.
Lily Tramblay and Abigail King win first place in the poster contest, and Lindley Boyd placed second.
