Bobcats advance in postseason with 52-0 first-round wins

The Phil Campbell Bobcats put up scores in the first round of the Class 3A baseball playoffs that any football coach would be envious of. The Bobcats beat Susan Moore in two games by a combined score of 52-0.

Phil Campbell won game one 22-0 and game two 30-0.

To continue to put the lopsidedness of the two games into perspective, Phil Campbell outhit Susan Moore 39-2, and Susan Moore committed 17 errors. The two-game series against Susan Moore was virtually batting practice for the Bobcats.

In game one, Swinney had four hits and five RBIs and scored twice. Trey Leindecker had three hits and four RBIs and scored three times. Leindecker, Swinney and K. Pace all had doubles.

Baker, Ridge Raper and Bryant Hyde scored three runs each.
