Belgreen baseball readies to take on full season of action

Nathan Vincent is ready for his Belgreen baseball team to hit the field again after this past year’s shortened season.

“I felt like last year, when the season ended so suddenly, we were just getting into a groove,” said Vincent. “We were getting better. I hope we can continue that progress into this year.”

Vincent will rely heavily on his junior class of players to anchor the team.

“We have some juniors that have at least two years of experience on the field,” said Vincent. “We will also have several ninth and 10thgraders that will have to step up and play key roles on the team.”

Vincent said he is looking forward to seeing what his team can do in the coming weeks.

“We are going to continue to work hard and be resilient,” said Vincent. “We need to hold each other accountable. We want to get better every day.”

Belgreen is in an area with Hackleburg, Phillips and Vina.
