RHS golf eyes chance at state

The Russellville High School golf teams are swinging for state, with sectional play starting Monday in Guntersville. Sub-state competition is set for May 6-7, with the state tournament following May 13-14. RHS seniors Brayden Bendall, Jaceton Murray, Lucas McNutt, Carson Reeves, Will Rushing Morgan Moon and Josie Willis are ready for the action. RHS’ top boys golfers are (from left) Bendall, Murray, Eric Boutwell, McNutt and Reeves. Murray and Boutwell made all-area at the Turtle Point Tournament.
