Tharptown routes Waterloo

The Tharptown Wildcats held the Waterloo Cougars scoreless in the third quarter on the way to 48-16 route.

It took while for either team to get into a scoring rhythm, with Tharptown taking a 6-2 first quarter lead. The Wildcats outscored the Cougars 17-8 in the second quarter to take a 23-10 halftime lead. Tharptown blanked Waterloo 18-0 in the third quarter to put the game away, leading 41-10 going into the fourth quarter.

Adrianna Borden led Tharptown with ten points. Gracie Montgomery added nine points, Linda Bahena eight points, Brooke Daily seven points, Shaylee Wieting six points, Aly Vandiver two points and Ameliah Dawson two points.
