Tharptown boys bury Waterloo

The Tharptown Wildcats held the Waterloo Cougars to just three points in the first quarter on the way to a 68-52 win Friday night.
Tharptown outscored Waterloo 18-3 to take the quick commanding lead in the first quarter. The Wildcats extended their lead to 36-17 at halftime. Tharptown extended their lead even further in the third quarter to 53-30 before the Couagars went on a brief run in the fourth quarter.
Aaron Creasey and Cole Daniel led Tharptown with 18 points and 17 points respectively. Carson Petree added 12 points for the Wildcats. Levi McCormack finished the game with seven points, Misael Saldana six points, Ruben Alfaro four points and Winston Nolen three points.
