Junior High Franklin County Tournament tips off Saturday

The Junior High Franklin County Tournament tips off Jan. 6 at Tharptown High School. There will be about 12 hours of basketball action Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

The tournament will be spread out over three days: Jan. 6, 11 and 13.

Tournament schedule

Jan. 6

9 a.m. – Belgreen vs. East Franklin (B-Junior Boys)

10:15 a.m. – Phil Campbell vs. Vina (B-Junior Boys)

11:30 a.m. – Tharptown vs. Vina (B-Junior Girls)

12:45 p.m. – Red Bay vs. Belgreen (B-Junior Girls)

2 p.m. – Red Bay vs. Belgreen-East Franklin winner (B-Junior Boys)

3:15 p.m. – Belgreen vs. Red Bay (A-Junior Girls)

4:30 p.m. – Tharptown vs. East Franklin (A-Junior Boys)

5:45 p.m. – Phil Campbell vs. Vina (A-Junior Boys)

7 p.m. – Vina vs. East Franklin (A-Junior Girls)

Jan. 11

4 p.m. – Tharptown vs. Phil Campbell-Vina winner (B-Junior Boys)

5:15 p.m. – Phil Campbell vs. Red Bay-Belgreen winner (B-Junior Girls)

6:30 p.m. – Phil Campbell vs. Belgreen-Red Bay winner (A-Junior Girls

7:45 p.m. – Tharptown vs. Vina-East Franklin winner (A-Junior Girls)

Jan. 13

10 a.m. – B-Junior Girls Finals

11:15 a.m. – B-Junior Boys Finals

12:30 p.m. – A-Junior Girls Finals
