Baker, Vandiver to wed

Jason and Lisa Baker would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jamie Baker to Andrew Vandiver.

Jamie is the granddaughter of James Hagood of Russellville and the late Nettie Hagood. She is the granddaughter of Cora Baker of Phil Campbell and the late Cullen Dale Baker.

Andrew is the son of Deborah Vandiver of Florence and the late Donnie Vandiver. He is the grandson of the late Paul and Earline Vandiver and the late Raymond and Hazel Miller.

The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Phil Campbell High School. She has attended Northwest-Shoals Community College. She was employed at Petco in Florence as a certified pet groomer, where she recently resigned so she could resume her studies in cosmetology.

The prospective groom is a 2014 graduate of Phil Campbell High School. He has attended Northwest-Shoals Community College. He is employed at University Chevrolet in Tuscumbia as a BCD rep.

The wedding will take place at Ava’s Place in Florence, Oct. 8, 2017. The Rev. Jeremy Holley will be officiating.
