Mildred Pauline Thorn

Mildred Pauline Thorn, age 67, Spruce Pine, passed away Nov. 29 at her residence.

The visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 at Spry Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Brian Welch officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Thorn; parents, Paul James and Ruby Priest; and daughters, Betty and Lisa.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Matt Holt and wife Amanda; granddaughter, Ashley Holt; siblings, Pat, Nell Holt, Charlie Berryhill, Buddy Priest, John Priest and Mary Priest; special nephew, Franklin Pennington; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
