By Alison James

Russellville Parks and Recreation Director Chad Sears said registration is coming to a close for the second half of fall rec sports.

Volleyball for girls 10U and 12U will hold its final registration day Oct. 17. Also on that day, RHS volleyball Coach Charlotte Dollar will hold a volleyball clinic at the rec center.

Volleyball and flag football are being offered in the second half of the fall this year, Sears said, to allow boys the opportunity to play both baseball and football and to allow girls the chance to play both softball and volleyball.

Sears said participation in fall rec league sports is higher this year than it has ever been.
