Russellville boasts winning Dixie Youth team

The 2015 Phil Campbell Dixie Youth League Tournament was played May 16. Four teams from Haleyville, three from Phil Campbell and one from Russellville participated. Pictured is the Russellville 8 and under Dixie Youth team. The team went 5-0 to win first place in the tournament. They also went undefeated (21-0) in the Russellville Dixie Youth Baseball league. The team includes: coaches Josh Cochran, Greg Pinkard, Joey Wingo and Jonathan Willis; (middle row) Brayden Hatton, Colin Horton, Christopher Lopez, Brennon Thorpe, Owen Pinkard and Logan Linville; and (front row) Maddox Cochran, Johnathan Lopez, Ty Willis, Kade Clemmons, Garrett Reid, and Hayden Wingo.
