Adron Hamilton West, 66, Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Adron was a feisty woman who loved life and loved being involved in her children’s lives.  She loved being outside.  She was a great wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She loved animals and will be especially missed by her sweet furry companion, Tabitha.  She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by parents, Henry Silas and Dorothy Garrison, Mack and Clara Bell Churchwell; sister, Tammy Dameron; brothers, Jimmy Dameron, Scotty Dameron; and father of her children, Rod “Tuffy” Hamilton.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mac West; children, Tresa Holt and husband, Cecil, Robin McCollum and husband, Tim, Dale Hamilton and wife, Rose Marie,  Donna Clark and husband, David; grandchildren, Adam McCollum, Andrew Hamilton, Brendon McCollum, Caroline Clark; siblings, Henrietta, Patricia, Ronnie, Randy, Peggy, David, Kenneth Garrison, Bonnie Drien, Debbie Bortello, David, Ronnie, Elmer Damron, Charlotte Jones, Caddy Groendal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers were Adam McCollum, Brendon McCollum, Gary Duncan, Wiley Hamilton, Jackie Norton, and John Goodbrad.  The honorary pallbearer was Andrew Hamilton.

The visitation was Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral following. Bro. Ricky Zahnd officiated the service.  Burial was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, family, friends, and neighbors for the love and care of our mother.
