Ronald Joe “Ron” Harden, 49, died July 5, 2014 in Marietta, Ga. He was born Jan. 13, 1965 in Red Bay, and had been a resident of Muscle Shoals, Al. for several years. He was owner and operator of Shoals Pre-School in Muscle Shoals.

He loved working as a disk jockey in Red Bay and several other radio stations.

He had his own recording studio in Muscle Shoals where he made commercials for ComCast and also made many political commercials.

Services were held on Saturday, July 12, at Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia.

He is survived by his father, Joel Harden and step-mother, Kim Harden, Marietta, Ga.; two sisters, Amanda Harden, Marietta, Ga. and Rhonda Williams and husband, Tony Williams,  Muscle Shoals; and two nephews, Desmond Williams and Davion Williams, both of Muscle Shoals.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Collier Harden and his grandparents, Check and Nora Collier and Calvin and Velma Harden.
