Frances Lorene Herring Sullivan, 86, Hodges, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital.

She lived her life in both Colbert and Franklin Counties and was a member of Littleville Baptist Church.  She was a retired schoolteacher.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2014, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.  Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Gatus Cheatham officiating.  A private burial will be in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens, Florence.

Survivors include children, Teresa K. Cheatham and husband, Gale, Prattville, Robert Harold “Harry” Sullivan, Russellville; sister, Mabel Herring Kennedy, Fayette; grandchildren, Thad A. Cheatham, Wetumpka, Sarah Cheatham Tanner and Jimmy Tanner, both of Montgomery, James D. Sullivan, Rebecca Sullivan, Katherine R. Sullivan, Anna Sullivan Mosley and Trea Mosley.

She was preceded in death by husband, Harold R. Sullivan; parents, Raymond H. and Sophia Deerman Herring; brothers, Preston and Dennis Herring; brother, Lamar Herring; great-grandchild, Maysen Raye Smith.
