9th annual Teen Day held at NW-SCC
Franklin County Community Education, along with Northwest Shoals Community College Talent Search Program presented the 9th Annual Teen Day for all 8th grade students in the Franklin County School System last Wednesday.
This event is a day that the eighth grade students county-wide are presented with information concerning careers, post-secondary planning, prevention issues, making good decisions, financial management, bullying, internet safety, the four-year plan for 9th-12th grades, career technical programs, interview skills, etiquette, economic development, and life choices.
Several local businesses, industries, educational and non-profit groups donated their time and services for this event by either setting up vendor booths or doing sessions for the students.
