Wallace Banks, age 72, of Lynn, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014.
He was retired from Drummond Coal and a member of First Baptist Church in Lynn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Mickey Crane officiating. Burial will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Banks is survived by his wife, Shirley Weaver Banks; mother, Bernice Barton Banks; daughters, Pam Hagedorn and husband, Wade, and Teresa McNutt and husband, Cris; sisters, Patricia White and Jackie Brown; brothers, Wayne Banks and Larry Banks; and five grandchildren, Grace Hagedorn, Grant Hagedorn, Ben McNutt, Jesslyn McNutt and Jace McNutt.
He is preceded in death by his father, Zim Banks.
