Jeanette C. Palmer, 67, died Friday, February 21, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield.

She was born September 1, 1946, in Alabama and was a sales representative for 25 years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 23, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Harold Ozbirn and Bro. Terry Parrish officiating. Burial was in Shady Valley Cemetery, Tremont, Miss.

Survivors are her husband, Hollis Palmer, Red Bay,; two children, Ricky Palmer and Sonya Ivy, both of Red Bay; special daughter, Sandra Lucas, Fulton, Miss.; four grandchildren, Jonathan Williams, Red Bay, Nicole Earnest, Tremont, Miss, Page Thorne, Russellville, and Emily Palmer, New Albany, Miss.; one great-grandchild, Peyton Thorne; one brother, Richard Cole, Tupelo, Miss.; one sister, Bonnie Pardue, Belmont, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. Cole and Virginia Williams Cole, and a brother, Royce Cole.

Pallbearers were Matthew Cole, Brandon Cole, Greg Lucas and Brad Ivy.

Visitation was on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Deaton Funeral Home.
