Ophelia Smith, 88, Russellville, formerly of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Russellville Hospital.

She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation was Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.  The funeral service was Saturday, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Prince and Bro. Kerry Smith officiating.

Survivors include husband, Rev. Elmer E. Smith, Russellville; children, Gary Smith and wife, Amita, Donnie Smith and wife, Gail, Ronnie Smith and wife, Anita, Michael Smith and wife, Cindy; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were grandsons.

She was preceded in death by parents, Hubert and Evie Jackson; brothers, Doug, Lano, and Lloyd Jackson; sisters, Evelyn Baker, Gerald Trapp, Mildred Jackson.

Special thanks to Dr. Decker and the staff at TMNH and Russellville Hospital.
