Barbara S. Russell, 71, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Jan. 13, 2014.

She was born in Sheffield on Dec. 4, 1942, to the late Clemmons and Gladys Batey Gullett. She was a member of Life House Ministries in Benton, and she was a devoted wife, mother and Mimi.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Russell, and her parents.  Barbara is survived by a daughter, Sharon Russell Nash and husband, Ryan, of Little Rock; two grandsons, Kevin Flannagin and his wife, Sandy Kelso Flannagin, and Jason Nash all of Little Rock; and three great-grandchildren: Grace, Ben, and Teddy Flannagin.

The graveside service was held on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, in Alexander, Ark., with Brother Jay Lea officiating.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home, 10 Remington Drive, Little Rock, AR 72204.
