Louise Lane Moland, 79, Russellville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at her residence.

She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and member of Tharptown Baptist Church. She was retired from the Franklin County School System where she worked as a cook for 16 years.

The funeral service will be Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Tharptown Baptist Church with Bobby Amos and Josh Miller officiating. Burial will be in Tharptown Cemetery. The visitation will be prior to service from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Davis and husband, Herschel, of Tuscumbia, Jackie Butler, and husband, Harold, of Haleyville, Marlene Allen and husband, Roger, of Russellville, Darlene Taylor and husband, Jimmy, of Russellville, Christy Dill and husband, Jeff, of Tharptown; like a daughter, Mary Ann Clement and husband, Roger, of Russellville; sisters, Barbara Amos and husband, Milton, of Russellville, June Amos and husband, Bobby, of Leighton; brothers, Herman Lane of Russellville, Clifton Lane of Russellville; sisters-in-law, Doris Lane of Russellville, Gladys Lane Johnson of Russellville; grandchildren, James Davis and wife, Ashley, Brett Butler and wife, Dawn, Christopher Butler, Sarah Motes and husband, Jonathan, Katie Allen, Abby Allen, Cassidy Taylor, Cayla Taylor, Gant Dill; great-grandchildren, Isabella Davis, Brooklyn Stockley, Callen Butler, Matthew Butler, Michael Butler, Hunter Motes, Shooter Motes, Georgia Motes, Mason Jackson, Easton Allen; special cousins, Nora Jean and Rabbit Culver, of Millbrook; lifelong friend, Eulene Bradford; several special nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Davis, Christopher Butler, Jonathan Motes, Jody Keil, Roger Clement and Ronnie Allen. Honorary bearer will be Gant Dill.

She was preceded in death by husband, James Clinton Moland; parents, Arthur and Katie Lane; infant daughter, Debra Moland; brothers, Hoyt, William “Son”, and Howard Ray Lane; sister, Mildred Wells; sister-in-laws, Ann Lane, and Helen Lane.
