Mary Pearl Evans Stanford, 82, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home.

The visitation was Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral service followed in the chapel with Rev. Chris Underwood officiating.  Terri Clark provided special music.   Burial was at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She is survived by her children, Robert W. Stanford, Jr., and wife, Debra, Russellville, Sheila Ann Stanford, Florence, Sharon Elaine Stanford, Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Anna Stanford, Boston, Mass., Joseph Stanford, Birmingham; siblings, Ruby Shadle, Glendale, Ariz., Edith Sandlin, Winfield, Lora Manasco, Moline, Ill, Grady Evans, Winfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Stanford, Sr.; parents, Jess and Mary (Dickinson) Evans; and brothers, JE Evans, Leasle Evans .

The pallbearers were Pat Seal, Scott Godsey, Mickey Seal, Charles Bentley, Joe Stanford, and Chris Burcham.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. John Bartness and staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home, especially the Station 6 employees, for their wonderful and loving care.
