Charles Junior Daniel, 87, Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at his residence.

He lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Russellville. He served in the Army during WWII and was a self-employed building contractor.

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Jeff Fleming and Dennis Steward officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday.

Survivors include wife, Clementine Daniel; children, Jerry Daniel and wife, Sue, Billy Daniel, Johnny Daniel and wife, Cathy, Jimmy Daniel and wife, Suzanne, Avery Daniel and wife, Susan, Marilyn English and husband, Robert, Carol Long and husband Keith, Allen Daniel and wife, LaShun; sisters, Tommie Kilgore, Rose Byrd and husband, Bobby; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Brett Daniel, Wayne Daniel, Ross Daniel, Adam Daniel, Eric Daniel, T.J. Daniel, Bryan Long and Austin Daniel.

Honorary bearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Lela Daniel; brothers, Edward, Wallace and James Ray Daniel; sister, Mary Ann Daniel.
