Bessie Lou McNatt DuBose, 90, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at her residence in Waycross, Ga., following an extended illness.

She was a native of Russellville, but had lived most of her life in Ware County, Ga. She was the wife of the late Everette Sylvester “Syb” DuBose and daughter of the late William Dudley McNatt and Eliza Willis McNatt. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bruce Dean DuBose; granddaughter Lisa Ann DuBose; and a son-in-law, Robert Livingston.

Mrs. DuBose was a member of Ware Baptist Church and was a former member of Brooks United Methodist Church. She had retired from Waycross Sportswear after more than 20 years of service and was a member of the Busy Bees Sewing Club.

Survivors include two daughters Peggy Powell and husband, Edwin, and Gail Livingston both of Waycross, Ga., formerly of Lake Butler, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Joyce DuBose, of Augusta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Torrie Parker and husband, Ken, of Blackshear, Ga., Shaun Powell and wife, Linda, of Waycross Ga., Dean DuBose of Ohio, Chris DuBose and wife, Claire, of Grovetown, Ga., Shane DuBose of Martinez, Ga., Tabitha Livingston, and Peyton Livingston both of Waycross Ga.; eight great grandchildren: Tylor DuBose, Nicole Valentine,  Michael DuBose, Kyle Valentine, Pierce Powell, Abbie Parker, Catie DuBose, and Trace Parker; a brother Dewey McNatt of Russellville, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The funeral services were Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Music Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Padgett officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
