Loyd Roy Cole, 73, Russellville, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Russellville Hospital.

He was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandpa and great-grandpa, a good provider and a friend to all. He was a member and a deacon of Tharptown Friendship Holiness Church for the last 42 years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Tharptown Friendship Holiness Church. Officiating will be Bro. William Mears and Bro. Frankie Harville. Burial will follow in the Tharptown Friendship Holiness Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 52-1/2 years, Etta Marie Borden Cole; children, Tanama Price, Wymon Cole and wife, Michelle, Charlotte Hood and husband, Kerry, Darlotte Smith and husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Rebekah Love, Mekesha Borden and husband, Jake, Heather Cole, Kensley Cole, Savanna Cole, Deanna Burcham, Nathaniel Burcham and wife, Amber, Kasey Cole, Nikki Cole, Darla Smith, Cortney Smith, Jesslyn Hood, Jonathan Hood, McKenzie Price; great-grandchildren, Michael Love, Jr., Samuel Love, Drayven Borden, Cole Borden; siblings, Leon Cole, Edward Cole and wife, Brenda, Ruby Hotchkiss, Pat Berryman, Helen Pilkilton and husband, Billy, Lula Pilkilton and husband, Marty; sister-in-law, Louise Cole; aunt, Annie Bell Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Loyd Dwight Cole; granddaughter, Kayla Tanama NeaEtta Burcham; parents, Roy and Fredia Cole; brother, Lowell Thomas Cole; and son-in-law, Jerry Price.

The pallbearers will be Kerry Hood, Nathaniel Burcham, Chris Borden, Faron Borden, Johnny Lee Borden, Timothy Partain, Dennis Cassel, and Maxwell Thigpen.  The honorary pallbearer will be Jonathan Hood.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Ram Sapkota, Dr. Keith Morrow, the 2nd Floor and ICU Nurses of Russellville Hospital for the love and care of our father.  The family also wants to say thank you to all our friends, neighbors, and loved ones who have visited, prayed for our family, brought food, offered support, and have sent flowers.  Your thoughtfulness has meant so much.
