John W. Fortner, 65, Phil Campbell, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
He was a native of Mobile.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 21, 2013, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery at Liberty Hill.
Survivors include wife, Sandra Fortner, Phil Campbell; children, Rusty Fortner, Bear Creek, Kris Fortner and wife, Pamela, Albertville, Derick Quillen, Talladega;
mother, Betty Fortner Thrasher, Phil Campbell; siblings, Linda Dodd and husband, Grady, Hartselle, Glen Fortner, Memphis, Tenn.; grandchildren, Julia Fortner, Hannah Fortner, McKinzi Fortner, Kiley Fortner, Heather Willis, Kayla Quillen; great-grandchild, Aiden Reed; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, James Fortner.
