Clara Bertie Burleson, 90, Hackleburg, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at the Country Cottage Assistance Living in Russellville.

Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 3, 2012, at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church, Hackleburg with Bro. W.D. Jaggers and Bro. Mike Frederick officiating. Interment was in Winston Memorial Gardens in Haleyville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Burleson; son, Joel Burleson; parents, Andrew and Matilda Kennedy; several siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Belinda Holmes; sisters, Arquilla Bozeman, Girthey Burleson; grandchildren, Holly McDonald and husband, Scotty, Sarah Holmes, Evan Holmes; great grandchildren, Jack Cotton, Avery Cotton; a host of nieces and nephews

She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
