Ross Newton Wooten, Jr., 61, Florence, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross N. Wooten, Sr. and Freida Hart Wooten.

He is survived by children, Olivia Odem and husband, John, and Trey Wooten and wife, April; grandson, James Palmer Wooten.

He was currently employed by Sparks Industries; he had worked for Ford Motor Company and served in the Alabama National Guard.
