David Paul Wright II, 53, Russellville, passed away Sept. 3, 2012, at Helen Keller Hospital.

He lived most of his life in Franklin County. He was a science teacher for 10 years with the Russellville School System. Prior to his disability retirement he was a member of various professional and science organizations.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, with Richard Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Vaughn Wright, of Russellville; sisters, Susan Jones and husband, Frank, of Tuscumbia, Kathy Rodman and husband, Carl, of Dell City, Okla., Janis Chesson and husband, Murry, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; brother, Steve Wright and wife, Laurie, of Brunswick, Ga.; numerous nieces, nephews and former students.

He was preceded in death by parents, Harold Wright and Willie Mae Cantrell Wright; and brother, Michael Wright.

Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
