Three people arrested in home invasion case

Three people were arrested this weekend after allegedly stealing $4,000 during a home invasion, officials said.
Joshua Neal Terry, 28, 110 Sockwell Lane, Leighton; Timothy Ron White, 45, 385 Spring Valley Rd., Tuscumbia; and Andrea Carmella Johnson, 32, 506 West 2nd St., Tuscumbia, were all charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property, Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver said.
According to Oliver, sheriff’s deputies received a call just after 9 p.m. Saturday that three individuals had broken into a mobile home at BDI Trailer Park in Russellville.
Oliver said the male victim stated he was in the bathroom about to get in the shower when the three people entered the trailer.
Oliver said the victim stated the intruders kept him trapped inside the bathroom and stole his wallet, which had $4,000 inside.
“When they released the door to leave, the victim said he chased after them and yelled at them to stop,” Oliver said.
“They got into a green GMC pick-up and the victim got in his vehicle and followed them and got their tag number and then called law enforcement.”
Oliver said deputies put out an all-points bulletin with the vehicle description and tag number.
He said the truck was identified and stopped in Colbert County just before midnight, and all three suspects were transported back to Franklin County early Sunday morning.
Oliver said a total of $2,705 was discovered in the three suspects’ possession.
He said $900 that was apparently dropped when the victim pursued the suspects was recovered at the scene.
