Political columns keep complaining about Supermajority

Dear Editor,

Has everyone noticed how political Johnny Mack Morrow and Roger Bedford’s letters have become since the Republican Party has become the majority in our Alabama Legislature?

Some of the things they complain about could have been corrected during the many years the Democrats were in control as the “Supermajority.”

I do agree with Roger Bedford that the latest reapportion lines that Republicans have drawn are very political and wrong.

I have known Johnny Mack Morrow for over 30 years and Roger Bedford for over 20 years.

They are each very good men and very good for their districts.

I have voted for each of them in the past and will vote for them in the future.

I just wish they would stop being so negative about the “Republican Supermajority” and get on with the work they are so good at.
