Danny “Ozzie” Osborn, 60, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Shoals Hospital.

He was a native of Franklin County and was an employee of Tiffin Motor Homes for 33 years. He was a firefighter at Burnout and Halltown and a member of Vina Fire and Rescue Squad for over 26 years.

Services were Friday, June 15, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Jerry Humphres and Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial was in Sparks Chapel Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are his wife, Nita Osborn, Vina; one daughter, Dannie Leigh Osborn; two nephews, John Gober, Huntsville, and Josh Mitchell, Red Bay, and one niece, Jessica Mitchell, Red Bay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Osborn and Alice Malone Osborn, a daughter, Tiffany Lynn Osborn, a brother, Jimmy Lee Osborn and a sister, Betty Gober.

Pallbearers were Craig Cummings, Christopher Adams, Roger Puckett, Michael Moomaw, Robert Moomaw and Lee Bishop. Honorary pallbearers were the Rescue Squad and fire departments.
