Jimmie R. Patton, 78, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Patton had lived most of his life in Franklin County and was a retired forklift operator at Reynolds Metals. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral service will be Monday, April 9, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Eddie Wix officiating. Burial will be in Tharptown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 8, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Survivors include son, Danny Patton, Russellville; sister, Betty Donnelly, Wilmington, Dela.; two nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Patton; and parents, Curless Issac and Mattie M. Carlisle Patton.
